Lesley Ann Brandt and Maria Bartiromo
Lesley-Ann Brandt was born Cape Town in South Africa on the 2nd of December, 1981. She is a model and actress best known for appearing in TV and film. Brandt started her career at the age of New Zealand with the sitcom Diplomatic immunity. Her American debut was in the role of Naevia on the historical drama Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress has appeared on many TV shows including the likes of Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies and The Librarians. Brandt is currently playing Mazikeen, a character in Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro's urban fantasies Lucifer. Brandt came from Cape Town South Africa, but moved with her parents into Auckland New Zealand in late teenage years. Brandt began modeling in commercials on TV and in print. She worked in sales, and was also consultant in technologies for information before gaining fame as a fashion model. In 2009, she got her first role in Leilani for the New Zealand comedy Diplomatic Immunity. Her first major appearance came in 2021 when she played the role of a slave-girl Naevia for the Starz show Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Naevia's role was reprised in the Spartacus sequel, Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Craig Parker co-starred in three TV series: Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (1010) and Legend of the Seeker 2008 together with her. In 2016, she was cast to play a bounty hunter demon named Mazikeen on the Netflix show Lucifer. The role is her most prominent so far. In the show, she co-stars with Tom Ellis Lauren French Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside.
Maria Bartiromo was the first American journalist to live broadcast for the New York Stock Exchange. Her credits include a number of highly-acclaimed series under her belt. A veteran broadcaster with over 20 years experience of reporting on business and the economy, she was instrumental in helping CNBC to become one of the best channels for business as well as the economy. It is easy to see that her highly successful career as a journalist was designed for her. But as a teenager, Maria was confused as to the best career choice. Her dream was to be singing one day and an interior designer the next. Then when she saw the thrill journalism has to offer, there was never looking back. This feisty woman is not just an outstanding journalist but she's also a role model to other women looking to excel in an all-male world. In addition to being named among the 50 individuals who have shaped the decade, she was the first woman journalist to be honored in the Cable Hall of Fame. Additionally, she is an author as well as a journalist.
